Jewelry Care Instructions

While our jewelry is manufactured to enhance its durability and resistance to corrosion, proper care is essential to maintain the luster and integrity of your precious pieces.

To ensure the longevity of your jewelry, we recommend the following care instructions:

1. Cleaning: Regular cleaning is crucial to remove dirt, oils, and other residues. Use a soft cloth or microfiber cloth to gently wipe the surface of the jewelry. For deeper cleaning, a solution of warm water and mild soap can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads, as they can scratch the surface.

2. Avoiding Chemicals: Stainless steel is resistant to many chemicals; however, exposure to harsh substances such as bleach, chlorine, and acidic solutions can damage the finish. It is advisable to remove jewelry before engaging in activities that involve these chemicals, such as swimming in chlorinated pools or using cleaning products.

3. Storage: When not in use, store your stainless steel jewelry in a dry, cool place. Consider using a jewelry box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches and tangling. Avoid storing jewelry in damp areas, as moisture can lead to tarnishing over time.

4. Avoiding Physical Damage: While stainless steel is durable, it is not indestructible. Avoid exposing your jewelry to excessive force or impact, which can lead to scratches or deformation. It is advisable to remove jewelry during physical activities or sports.

5. Regular Inspections: Periodically inspect your jewelry for any signs of wear or damage. Check for loose stones or clasps, and address any issues promptly to prevent further damage.

Jewelry Materials

We craft most of our jewelry using high-quality 316L and 304L stainless steel, two of the most popular and durable metals in the industry. 316L stainless steel is a premium-grade material, containing a very small amount of nickel that is tightly bound within the metal's molecular structure, making it highly hypoallergenic for most people. This material is also exceptionally tarnish-resistant, won't rust or turn your skin green, and is strong enough for daily wear. While 304L stainless steel also offers great durability and corrosion resistance, 316L is generally considered a superior choice for jewelry due to its enhanced resistance to pitting and corrosion from salt and acid, and is the standard for surgical steel. Both materials ensure your jewelry remains beautiful and long-lasting with minimal care.
